Jaymay - ‘Grey or Blue’ Live on Conan
Although she’s been knocking around NY for a few years now, it certainly seems Jaymay has been making inroads in the last six months, mostly due to the warm reception her album Autumn Fallin’ has received. She first came to my attention with a live track called ‘You Are the Only One I Love’, which was good enough for me to immediately buy her Sea Green, See Blue EP, which featured several of the tracks that would later appear on the album. I don’t think the studio version really captures the same feeling of that live take - in fact, it may not even be available anymore - so I have dug it up for your listening pleasure…
