White Denim – Don’t Look That Way At It
White Denim’s album is something that has been growing on me slowly these last few months, but somehow it finally clicked with me over the weekend and I’m now appreciating it in an entirely different way. James Petralli’s voice reminds me of Plants and Animals’ Warren Spicer and at times they have a sound like the Dirty Projectors, but I just love the way these guys put songs together. It’s wrecklessly beautiful and effortlessly giddy.
