Gotye – Learnalilgivinanlovin

This is exactly the kind of song you need to be listening to on a Monday morning. Trust me on this one. I’ve been reading up on Mr. De Backer, a Belgian-born Australian drummer who has been threading together obscure samples into colourful pop gems as Gotye (pronounced ‘Gaultier’). Despite being released in his homeland two years ago, his second album Like Drawing Blood will finally see worldwide distribution – on the back of an enormous amount of critical praise. The album hits stores on August 18th and in the meantime you can read a nice little interview with the man himself in The Sunday Times.
