Stanley Brinks is the latest alter ego of eccentric French musician André Herman Düne and this is one of his finer vagabond recordings: dry wit and world weary observations brought together in the battered-up frame of a traditional calypso song. His debut LP Dank U is out now on Ciao Ketchup Recordings.
