Deerhunter – Vox Humana
This is one of my favourite tracks from Weird Era Cont., the ‘extra album’ recorded to accompany the physical release of Microcastle, both of which have suffered from well-publicised leaks over the summer. Vox Humana catches Bradford Cox indulging in a moment of nostalgia while showing off that shimmering Doo Wop influence once again. Be sure to pick Microcastle on vinyl come this Halloween, I know I will.
Microcastle and Weird Era Cont. will be released through 4AD on the 27th October, although the former is currently available on iTunes.
