This brings back some memories: a witty and catchy song about being ignored by your crush – I must have watched this video hundreds of times as an angst-ridden, hormone-fuelled teenager. I can still recite every line without thinking about it. But the reason I’m indulging in a moment of nostalgia is because Hot Chip have remixed it almost beyond recognition, reminding me in turn of another remix of the song where the group re-deliver each other’s rhymes to a cocktail jazz backing.
