One to watch out for: Holly Miranda, member of the Jealous Girlfriends and native of Tennessee, currently resides in Brooklyn where she has made an album of dreamy pop produced by TV On the Radio’s Dave Sitek (the above track, Slow Burn Treason, also features the band’s Kyp Malone). Her sound has already won a fan in Kanye West, received the Pitchfork stamp of approval, yet the Blogosphere has been slow to catch on and The Magician’s Private Library remains an unsigned and unreleased treasure.
