Nathan Fake – Basic Mountain

A guy from Norfolk with just a computer and a Casio keyboard making pretension-free electronica that’s unashamedly influenced by rock and gritty enough not to sink into derivative repetition. This song, from his forthcoming Hard Islands album, uses a similar synth sound to Boards of Canada but with a tempo you can dance to.

Hard Islands is out on 18 May through James Holden’s label, Border Community.

Yes this is repetitive, but this is awesome.
This guy has great skills.Just have a look to his discogs and u ll see(or listen id say ).This is maybe repetitive but never boring. To be honest u need a full quality (wav), to appreciate the variations of this tune.

If u dont know this artist i highly recommend his album “the sky was pink” and a remix ep called “You Are Here”.On this last ep, have a listen to “You Are Here – Live Mix”.This is a pure gem ;-)
