The Wooden Birds – False Alarm

It’s Sunday night, I’m tired, and this is just the sort of song to lead me toward bed after a nice afternoon spent in the sun. The Wooden Birds is a new project from American Analog Set songwriter Andrew Kenny, a Texan who has recorded or at least performed with the likes of Broken Social Scene and the Album Leaf, culminating in the recently released Magnolia - an album that strips AmAnSet bare to just the simplest, most melodic components.
