Peter Broderick – With the Notes in My Ears

Peter Broderick is a 22-year-old American composer who gave up a life of recording with the likes of M. Ward when he was invited to move to Copenhagen by Danish ensemble Efterklang. In the two years since, he has worked on over a dozen releases, most notably Home (an album of gorgeous folk songs released on Bella Union last september) and Music for Falling from Trees, an instrumental mini-album released earlier this month. In July he’ll begin a string of festival dates around Europe – and here’s an idea of what to expect.
