Wolf Gang – Pieces of You

The kind of ’80s inspired synth pop that’s recorded in a bedroom can make for wildly varying results, but London’s Max McElligott seems to be on the right track. Mixing a vocal style similar to David Byrne with harmonies befitting Fleet Foxes and Grizzly Bear, the 22-year-old apparently turned down a job with the Foreign Office to sign with Neon Gold and begin work on a debut album with producer Blue May. ‘Pieces of You’ is available on a limited edition 7” with ‘The Kill’.
