Paralyze Humanity Sequence – Hammock

Hipster Runoff wrote a tongue-in-cheek post yesterday about the abundance of lo-fi “chillwave” sounds emerging this summer and then took the opportunity to proclaim it as a new genre. For anyone who might think I’m just posting new songs I like, the number of acts popping up with washed-out ‘summery’ sounds is an accurate reflection of what’s out there at the moment. But if you’ve been enjoying it so far, you’ll like this one. Part ‘Blue Moon’, part Everly Brothers, part Panda Bear = a summertime lullaby.
