Liam the Younger – Ode to Then

New Jersey’s Liam the Younger is possibly my new favourite act. Over the course of two (free) albums, After the Graveyard and Clear Skies of Black River, his short and stripped-down home recordings hiss by without becoming repetitive or losing any of their colour – which is quite incredible when you think of the amount of artists who have tried the same thing. But apart from making an appearance on the recent Underwater Peoples Summertime Showcase compilation, very little has been said about Liam the Younger so far and hence there is not much info to relate. All I know is I’d like some physical copies to spin on the turntable… Thanks to Chocolate Bobka for the heads up on this one.
