Having given Ty Segall’s latest album Lemons a few more spins, tracks like this one are beginning to stand out as new favourites. Just as well, because I’ve almost played out his self-titled debut. I just can’t wait to see him play live – it has to be done! A few weeks back Segall also released a split 7″ with lo-fi legends Thee Oh Sees, covering their song ‘Maria Stacks’ on the b-side. It’s in colour vinyl and limited to 1,000 copies, so make sure to get a hold of one.
