Peter Broderick – More of a Composition
A soft, reflective song perfect for a Sunday afternoon – though perhaps not ideal for listening to on a long journey home in a packed train while hungover (as I did yesterday morning). Peter Broderick is one act I didn’t get to see at Electric Picnic because, due to a fault with one of the rigs, people were not allowed in to the main area in time to see him – though imagining Broderick playing these songs to an audience of no one is somehow fitting. This is from an album of mostly instrumental four-track recordings – of which only 400 copies have been made – and it’s well worth checking out.
