This well-disguised cover goes some way to trump the original. It’s only the hook, sinking into you unexpectedly, that drags you back to Band of Horses. It much sadder, though – so you have been warned. Serena Ryder is a Canadian songwriter who has also worked with Great Lake Swimmers, most recently on Lost Channels.
