The Ruby Suns – There Are Birds

I’m just after finding this accidentally, but it’s a nice little collection of cool artists like Galaxie 500, Bowie, Joy Division, Yo La Tengo, etc. and can be streamed online here.

New Music Blog: Sammy’s Tunes

of Montreal – Penelope

I am delighted to discover a new music blog instantly deserving of your attention. My mixtape-mate sammyg123 now has his own space where you can download his mixes on a daily basis – and believe me, the man knows his music and each mix is worth savouring. For instance, when I merely gave the Elephant 6 collective a mention recently, Sammy has the whole covered in a fantastic mix – from which the above track is taken from. Head over to Sammy’s Tunes for the download.
