Larsen B – Atlantis

Another discovery to get excited about – this time from Try Harder, the folk who brought you Jonquil and Foals. Larsen B is comprised of three childhood friends who have put together some brilliantly produced songs with a quaint, rural feel to them (the songs were recorded in an old stable in Wheathampstead). This is song is from last year’s EP The Treasured Memories of Cecil Element, but their new album Mandarin for Beginners should be surfacing sometime in late autumn. For now you can hear some of the forthcoming material over at their MySpace

We wrote and made noise until the sunset, beat on drums while howling at the moon (alcohol), and fell asleep aware and anxious to repeat the day before. Continue Reading »
