Hellsongs – We’re Not Gonna Take It
The first of two curious covers for today, Hellsongs are a Swedish group who have made an album of folk interpretations of heavy metal/rock anthems…with a straight face. That is to say, they’re going for a serious, almost melodramatic take on the material and I think this one – a cover of Twisted Sister – demonstrates that in the most surreal way of all.
