Jim James & Calexico – ‘Goin’ to Acapulco’
As the highlight of the Bob Dylan biopic ‘I’m Not There‘, the impromptu live performance of this song brought the film to a standstill. On the double CD of cover versions that comprise its soundtrack, once again it stands out head and shoulders above the rest. A lovely interpretation of the original and a priceless spotlight on both My Morning Jacket and Calexico.
