On the back of Diamond Heart, her recent Cat Stevens cover, and this surprisingly upbeat number, I am eagerly awaiting a first listen of Marissa Nadler’s forthcoming Little Hells album, perhaps more so than any other release on the horizon.

Marissa Nadler – Trouble
This is a beautifully stark and soothing take on the Cat Stevens song from 1970, Nadler’s lovely whispered vocals wrapping up the melody in a whisper. She has just completed recording her new album and there are a few sneak peeks of the material from recent live shows floating around on YouTube.
